Oscar June 2008 Prediction
This is like my first post in a long while lol, but anyways I thought that I'd share my prediction for this month's Best Picture Prediction. I think when it comes down to it, it's going to be Relentless vs. The Wishbones. It seems baiters are starving for a good comedy to crown, and both are worthy contenders. Not to mention both have a tremendous amount of support, even TIE-ing at the NBR awards. Out of the two, I think Wishbones has more going for it, especially since Chris M. is overdue (But then again Tony should of had at least two BOTM titles under his belt). It's going to be interesting seeing what happens. I think the biggest competition that both baits will have to watch for is D.W's Break Before Bend. Also, The Poisonwood Bible is getting some great buzz as well. Then there's Pride of Baghdad. Could this bait that also is gaining a lot of support end up being the first animated bait to get a best picture nod? It's possible, and I'm crazy enough to bet money on it becoming a fact. Anyway, good luck to all in the coming awards.
